tatteredcover:

Confession (via Algonquin).

I absolutely love this quote because it’s so true to me. I just love people who love reading, I love seeing someone read a book I love, or better yet reading the same book as me, I love talking to owners of bookstores, I love getting recommendations from fellow book lovers. It’s just this automatic knowledge that at the heart of who I am they get it. The need to read, the sheer love of books, the desire to become best friends with whoever else loves to read, and furthermore the jealousy you feel when you see someone reading a book you love for the first time. Ahhhh I could go on, but I’m sure anyone who follows me and cares already knows my extreme obsession with books, reading, and literacy. It’s just so important, and so necessary to my existence as a functioning human being. ( this can be supported by the fact that although I’m a psych major my favorite class so far this year is my voluntary English class)
